Smash into back of EVO

Write last night i was sat at some temporary road work lights on a bridge and there was two cars in front of me (the car in front of mine was an EVO) after about 2 mins of waiting they changed to green and everyone set off up the hilll, then all of a sudden the EVO slammed on its brakes and i did the same but obviously the EVO's brakes are much better than the Escort's and i smashed into the back of it, at the same time i saw what had caused the cars in front of me to brake all of a suden, it was some idiot who had jumped the red light and because it was a hill i wasn't able to see him in time, then the idiot was still trying to drive at oncomeing traffic so i blocked him in and i was shouting at him to stop then he said some guy was trying to T*at him, this guy was absolutly shiiting his pants, he was begging me to let him go and i said to him your not goin anywhere when youv'e just caused an accident also the guy driving the EVO was going mad at him to so i checked the cars (lookely they wern't badly damaged), then at the same time the guy who was trying to T*at him was running up the hill then when he came over and said to the driver "let me in jump in your car and drive around the corner so i can kick the Shite out of you" and they drove off. I checked my car today and it was covered in white paint from the EVO and lookely just a few scratches on my bonnet, but its still pissed me off no matter who's trying to kick the Shite out of you, you dont jump a red light endangering lives of inocent people.

So I take it the evo is claiming off your insurance now then?

No is he F**k it wasn't my fault and the guy in the evo knew that but we both decided it's nothing serious so it's not worth going through the hassle of claiming, we got the guys reg though just in case.

Well....without being there it would appear that you hit another car due to not being able to stop in time, thus.....your fault. Maybe if we had been there it would be a bit clearer as to exactly what happened. But then again...maybe you were just driving a little to close to a car that you know would have ad far superior brakes.

I wasn't there, I don't know.

But I am glad no one was hurt!

It was dark so you couldn't see all the paint on the cars, but the guy in the evo told me his car was fine,

yeh i can see why you think it might be my fault but beasue the car was comeing over a blind hill there was no warning at all and there was only enough room for one car width as the rest of the road was fenced off, but yeh you had to be there and im sure if it was my fault the EVO driver would of blaimed me but he just went straight over to the fool jumping a red light.

And as for the paint i was stummped when i saw how much paint was on the front of my car but and only miner damage to both cars but it was a heavely modified evo and he might have had it resprayed recently.

I'm sure this section is called "show us your shunt" and not just tell us a little story about your shunt and some pussy who didn't want a kicking.

well im sorry i just wanted to talk about it but i guess your the boss so i'll shut my mouth from now on then

if i had been hit by any car while driving any car id still get all the details. being heavily modified means he would have speant big bucks on it, doesnt add up if there was damage. did the bloke jumping the red light hit anyone?

we didn't get details beacuse both cars apeared fine from a glance and im sure he's got plenty of parts to repair it because he lives near me and has a garage selling EVO's, and no lookely the guy who jumped the light didnt hit the first car, you could see he had to swerve though into the cones and fence to avoid him, anyway im going to see the guy tommorow at the evo garage and ask how he's car is

LMAO :D

You hit the back of a car. Your fault.

There must be a reason he's not claiming off of you. Perhaps his paperwork wasnt up to date.

So your saying if i go out now and drive through a red light and caused other cars to crash it's not my fault

was it a fat girl in a corsa that jumped the lights?

lmao, dont make me bump that thread!

either way you were to close to the back of the evo if you couldnt stop, in the real world its that blokes fault, but if somone ran into the road and the same thing happned its your fault and in both scenarios id hazard a guess insurance will see it that way on both instances
