madxrcabby
if you use heatproof primer it should be ok , was fine when i sprayed engine parts with heatproof primer and normal paint in the past dayglo ftw !

shawdreamer
if you use heatproof primer it should be ok , was fine when i sprayed engine parts with heatproof primer and normal paint in the past dayglo ftw ! erm I thought this had been explained to death by now but oh well?....... highheat paint IS NOT required to spray the rocker cover, NEITHER IS hightemp primer.... it doesnt get hot enough to surpass the working/safety levels of standard everday celulose paint, therefore standard car-body paint is perfectly fine to be used on rockers covers without problem Edited April 23, 2009 by shawdreamer
