HDMI or Composite?

Grabbed an Asda HDMI Cable for £5... Didn't work so took it back for a £6 Philips (said £10 on the ticket)... The difference in sharpness is amazing! The colours aren't as "in your face" as the HD composite but that could be adjusted with a few tweaks.

But the dashboard is sharp, the games and HD videos are sharp.

Miles better than a Standard Def TV

Apparently buying a HDMI cable for a Xbox is a waste of money, but thats just what i've heard

i tried HDMI over comp and noticed smoother movement with the picture on fast dvd/gameplay....but the best feature with HDMI its sound and audio in one thin cable
