lowering

thinking of lowering mi car and wondered, has anybody lowered their car by using just springs and not the shockers. and are the disadvantages of using just the springs

I have 35mm lowering springs standard shocks

 

Was supprised at the difference in handling

Which springs do you have and where did you get them? Any probs with them?

Bought them off someone on here cant remember who though

 

Not sure what make they where

 

But havent had any problems with them at all 100% better now there on

I droped mine 35mm with just springs, at the time it had done only 17k (only at 22k now and almost 4 yrs old) so was told no real need to get new shocks. They guy in the store where i bought them said that unless your car had done a high mileage then there was no point in changing shocks. After 40-50k you would probably notice a big difference in handling if you changed your shocks as well as springs

Forgot to add that my car handles f*&(**G ACE since i did it.

I miss my cars excellent handling really was glued to the road....

Koni full kit 390£ shocks and matched springs. oh and adjustable firmness
