massivewangers Posted July 31, 2009 Share Posted July 31, 2009 I hate all of them TBH, they do my head in. Seems to me that if you don't have a facebook, you're now 'weird'. Because not wanting to talk to a load of people I knew years ago is weird. If I want to talk to my friends, I can phone them, or actually go and see them. I know people who spend absolutely hours on it, its pathetic... The whole thing annoys me to be honest, it's just full of silly shite, games and stuff, it's pointless. I actually know a few people now who are getting rid of their facebook pages as they're just getting fed up with it. Arrange some stuff with mates through it and i keep my status updated..sort of (not letting the world know everything i do but just the off update every couple of days with the big things...like finishing my current job today!! woop!!) I think its called Farmville??? you go and maintain eachothers & your own farm and get your levels up... Its pathetic, and addictive. I myself refuse to even look at it, but Kevs sister wakes up early, goes on it before work, texts and calls her mates to look after it why she is out, and then home from work and straight back on it.... LedVenT Posted July 31, 2009 Share Posted July 31, 2009 after months of having ppl moaning i didnt have a bebo account i decided to get 1. what a complete waste of time.after spending the evening with mates i get home to find posts like wubu2 from the ppl i was just out with, WHY?then have 20 posts which range from an enquiry to a rage about no answering all in 10 mins. add to taht having ppl you dont know "who are new to teh interwebz" trying to add you as a buddy and the... i'm boring myself talking about it. surfice to say i cancelled and wont be getting anyother account of any type. my missus and i were on a walk thru southwold and warblerswick and decided to get the ferry back across the harbour, its a small 10 seat row boat. thought it might be a nice relaxing trip. but then a group of girls from latitude got on a were talking, well shouting about facebook and taking photos for facebook and annoying me and the missus. why is it that ppl only seem to to stuff to post online just enjoy what your doing and forget about publisicing what is in reality a run of the mill life. well facebook will be on its asre soon as most webfads are just that and have a very short lifespan. I use to think EVO was a fad, and that I would grow out of it with not owning an escort anymore etc... but its more of an addiction now... I would say this is different for a lot of people, because it's a continuing resource that helps them out, though I suppose for people who have moved on to different cars, it is something of a social networking thing, but is perhaps still a way of seeing something they still hold an interest in.
