John
it's probably not down to the lowering that is causing it. well known that the lower arm bushes are Shite on these motors, mine has already had both sides changed and all that was done well before it had done 20k i'm just glad they were done before i bought it! Brian89
All standard ford lower arms wear qucik, they are of a bad design. Compare that to my dads audi, with 80k, 13 years old, only a bit of surface rust, all rubbers mint. I was told its cos fords dont adjust so u have manufacturing tolerances which can cause wear, other cars have elongated holes for accurate adjustment. I've changed my lower arms twice!! Ive got fiesta and have had it 3 years, 9k miles THATS CHANGED THEM TWICE!!

Phill
I replaced a lower arm a couple of weeks ago, but only because I destroyed the balljoint trying to get the strut out. Which of course I didn't need to go in the first place.I got a replacement from my local Auto store for about £20.
Mike RS2300
mine are just starting to 'go'... will be replaced by a full Powerflex set up I think mine are going, knocking noise and a lot of outer tyre wear.
