the speed on the digi dials seem to work intermitently i.e when you put the foot down the speedo drops and doesnt work then whenyou release the pedal the speedo comes back up and then at other times it just doesnt work

 

is it a case of run a new wire from ecu to clocks

 

or is it new clocks

should the spedo not all ready be wired to the ecu? if it is then could be the clocks

 

 

mine is and works fine

the wire is already there but what am saying is that the could possibly be broken or shorting out would this cause the problem

run a wire from the ecu pin to the wire on the plug pin of the dials thats how i did mine.

 

good way to see if the dials are bust too as if it still dont work then the dials will most likely be duff

same here, thought it was the only way TBH as the digital ones have no speedo cable

Have you got other running problems? If you have then take a look at the VSS - otherwise as suggested it's a duff connection to the ecu.

no there is not any other running problems as far as i am a ware

 

i know the temp gauge isnt working but thats down to the temp sender

 

i will run a new wire this weekend and see what happens

 

as far as i know the gauges atrent fooooked as there is a test you can perform which is to hold the milege reset button down then key on till dash lights come on hold it down and then start your engine

 

after doining this the all the first thing that comes up is gauges test which flicks all the gauges over theen they flick back again and it does that ok
