Posted October 3, 200915 yr Leaving escorts, going VAG.... Owned this since June 2008, only really used in the summer / easter as I'm in Uni in London so don't need a car in term time. Totally standard Mk6 Serenade, 1.6 Zetec on around 70,000 miles. Clocks were changed for white dials by me last August, so true mileage is ~70k (have original dials and loads of MOTs to back this up). Cosmetically, there is no rust on the shell. Zero. Mint arches. There are a few car park dings on the doors. However, the tailgate needs a respray / replacing as it's had a bit of a botched repair on a dent / debadging, the boot strip is also delocked and gloss black. The car no longer has a spoiler as in the pics, the holes have been smoothed off, although I can throw the spoiler in if you want. Interior is great, electric windows, central locking, sunroof, seats are very clean (rears especially). Can come with Sony iPod / USB stick headunit for an extra £50. October 3, 200915 yr Off topic i know but is that the right engine for the car? Seems odd having that Throttle Body on a P Reg.
October 3, 200915 yr Author Been like that since I've had it. Think 97/98 was the year Ford started to change them over, so it's probably one of the first to have it factory as it's from that time. Few things like that, like when I did the wheel bearings they were both normal thread, not reverse on one side as Haynes said a 97/98 should be. Probably has parts from both bins
