....did they just speak to a driver in the car from the commentary box!? (Sorry, i've never watched BTCC before)

Also while i'm here, what makes a car a "touring car" i.e. whats the difference from these to out ordinary out of the factory cars? Obviously modified/new engines/suspension/looks etc. but what does a car have to do to be classed as a touring car?

Also, that Vauxhall is NICE!

For those of you trying to decide between watching the BTCC and the F1, watch the BTCC and then just tune in to the last 10 laps of the F1 :thumb:

what a couple of races the first two have been today

got up this morning to watch the F1 and its boring

cant wait till 5 ish for the last race and come on Plato :thumb:

Don't know who deserved that Championship more - Turkington or Plato! I think both will go home happy with today though.

A good watch - if only F1 could have such intense action!!

as a 30 year old thick skinned blokey bloke, I don't care admitting I had a cry with Colin at the end

best 3 races i think i've EVER seen

I got offered tickets at 11am this morning, if I'd have know the line up i'd have got out of bed
such a good season this season , if only plato was less eratic earlier in the season when he thought he had no chance he may have made the points up, good to see the focus finally doing well as well, and i was happy colin won :)
I was on south bank and could see over to Paddock Hill and as they came out of Druids down, was a great finale for the championship :thumb:
who won it in the end?, i only seen one race and that was when chilton was leading right up to lap 16, and then lost it and dropped about 5 places :( unlucky that was
Plato won all three races - look on www.btcc.net for more :)

Sweet cheers dude :thumb:

wow! What a finale to the year! Last race was a bit nerve racking whoever of the few top drivers you support! Lol at chilton doing one on giovanardi.

Am i right in thinking the rule for next year is no rwd cars? Or have i imagined that in a wierd dream!

I was on the viewing bank of the final bend, just opposite the pit entrance- was a cracking day, was seriously buzzing when plato took the lead on the first race :)

Going to be going to a few more races methinks, proper good day out :)

If you enjoyed that, go see the Brands Hatch Indy meeting next season, and make sure you get a grandstand seat on Paddock Hill Bend (1st corner).

You can see all the way round the track, and there's always a bit of action at Paddock!

Check this video of Plato's save at Paddock this year:
