Posted October 10, 200915 yr Like said in title, given the current economic climate. What would be a good business to start or what career would be good to train in?
October 10, 200915 yr Bit vague really. How old are you, previous experience, interests? What skills do your already possess?Do you have money to inject into a business?Do you have anyone who would be willing to inject money into a business? Are you employed at the moment? How are going to support yourself while it takes time to take off?Area you live in? City/Town/Village?

City/Town/Village?Exactly. Because without knowing your level of education, qualifications and experience then it's impossible to suggest anything actually viable.
October 11, 200915 yr Why are you even asking? Surely if you're lookin at a career change, or looking for a career to start with, it should be somthing YOU are interested in or have a passion for. Just because, as an example, plumbing is a career that'll be around for a long time, doesnt mean you should do it for that reason. I think you should think about what YOU WANT to do, rather than just looking for something that'll make you enough money. I'd rather be happy than rich any day. I'd hate to wake up and think 'Awh no, I've got to go to work' every single day and slog out 6+ hours of something I dont enjoy. I'd much rather do something I enjoy. See what I'm getting at?
October 11, 200915 yr He's only asking for suggestions not for us to make his decision for him.The questions quite viable but without background information suggestions are useless. For instance one persons already made a suggestion of debt collection. Is he over 18?Can he handle persuading people to part with money/belongings that have already been avoided to get to that point?See the problem here? October 12, 200915 yr I wouldnt be a debt collector, ive just been made redundant from that side of the industry, You think logically with the current climate, they aint gonna repossess nothing till this so called credit crunch is over, and with the job market ppl are gonna be given more time.
