Completely free event if you managaed to blag tickets online in time as of last week. Brilliant day out with appearances from McLaren, Brawn & friends, including Lewis Hamilton, Heikki Kovalainen, Ross Brawn, David Coulthard and all round leg-end Mika Hakkinen. Really well set up for a free event with loads of track exhibition laps from the 2008 Mclaren and Brawn F1 cars (driven by LH and HK), Mercedes DTM Touring car, a shed load of AMG's and the Formula1 safety car thrown in for good measure. eetaylog Posted February 1, 2010 Author Share Posted February 1, 2010 shame about the weather eh, great pics though yeah, we didnt actually get any rain the whole time we were there, but the F1 cars couldnt really get their tyres warmed up and stick their toes down a bit more because of the conditions, which was a shame. I swear the DTM cars are even louder than F1 cars - we saw LH do some exhibition laps of Brands Hatch when the DTM came over. well i wouldnt go that far, but they were pretty damn loud still! The F1 cars were absolutely out of this world, the video clips dont do justice to their performance or the noise they made.
