LiamGTR
Elbow grease and some wax will hide the best of the marks, you aren't really going to remove the little scratches without either T-cut or getting one of those detailing guys have a shot at it, and with an escort it's simply not worth the money

dutchkev
ive never been able to get a decent long lasting shine out of 2 pepper reds, best thing i used for a short term shine was a full auto-glym kit, looked fantastic for a few hours! RO55
HD Wax does it for me. As long as the paint is flat it will shine like Sh1te on a barn door, In the middle of the night The pepper Red will shine very well indeed ... Only problem it will pull any ding/dent into the eye. RO55
is that the £40 stuff lol its very expensive Between £25 and £30 depending where you shop (£39 in Halfrauds) Good stuff and Hides alot of Defects ... TBH you need a Good machine polish to flatten the pain out ... The pepper red is lovly, If you get it right its one of the nicest shades found on a scrote. Lamb
best thing will be the famous combination autulogym srp to fill scratches and swirlsand then autoglym egp that will be best bet if you are on a budget as the srp is the polish and egp is the sealant - a popular combination if want more upmarket dodo juice or zaino is best bet
Trig
Now you have clayed the car, it would be good to give it a good polish with a filler heavy polish like Autoglyms Super Resin Polish. That will help to hide the swirls an hollograms, making it look alot better. After that, you need to seal the hard work in with a wax, you could buy HD wax, but if you want something a fair bit cheaper that is easy to use, I would get Meguiard #16 paste wax. Put it on thin, really thin, and it will lock in the hard work and make the car much easier to clean in the future. The protection from the layer of wax will last a couple of months, so if you can get a couple of layers on there you should get 4-6 months out of it, just remember to leave a few hours between waxing. MikeM
Please don't use T Cut! As said, seeing as you've already clayed the car, use AG SRP and apply some wax. When i clayed my last car i WashedClayedWashedSRPCollinite 476 wax Can't wait to machine polish my escort lol
