bongo Posted June 2, 2013 Author Share Posted June 2, 2013 right atlast she's running,had the fuel pipes the wrong way round then after turning them around i had one go at turning it over and the starter died,so i took it off this morning and found this,the 12v switched had been soldered and come loose again so after some soldering some wire with a ring terminal on to cut out the bolt i turned it over hoping that just the starter would work so i could get to work on the non firing,but hey presto! first turn of the key and she fired up! so it was definately the fuel pipes the wrong way round. you can see the dodgy connection. http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh146/bongo2008/CAM00763.jpg also got my brakes fitted, but they re both leaking as i had to use mondeo fitments and not the banjo rs ones,as the surface on the caliper is slightly pitted so the copper washer didnt seal it,also my temp gauge isnt working,but thats nothing atleast she runs,having never heard the engine running lol. also sorted my alarm,and ecu is tucked up back in location. happy days today,just a few niggles to sort out. few pics... wheel after 12mm of spacers. http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh146/bongo2008/CAM00745.jpg and brakes. http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh146/bongo2008/CAM00752.jpg http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh146/bongo2008/CAM00750.jpg http://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh146/bongo2008/CAM00743.jpg Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
