right not long to go now just got to fit ecu and sort alarm wires,car now has all fluids and is ready to be turned over...hopefully..

 

also rolled her out of the garage for the first time in 6 months.

if it donr work,i'll be doing the 2.3 conversion and she can stay in the garge for another year lol.

right atlast she's running,had the fuel pipes the wrong way round :nutter: then after turning them around i had one go at turning it over and the starter died,so i took it off this morning and found this,the 12v switched had been soldered and come loose again so after some soldering some wire with a ring terminal on to cut out the bolt i turned it over hoping that just the starter would work so i could get to work on the non firing,but hey presto! first turn of the key and she fired up! so it was definately the fuel pipes the wrong way round.

also got my brakes fitted, but they re both leaking as i had to use mondeo fitments and not the banjo rs ones,as the surface on the caliper is slightly pitted so the copper washer didnt seal it,also my temp gauge isnt working,but thats nothing atleast she runs,having never heard the engine running lol.

 

also sorted my alarm,and ecu is tucked up back in location.

 

happy days today,just a few niggles to sort out.

clutch quadrant snapped last night,so ordered one from ford,im sure this car dont want to come out of the garage.

Nightmare! had that happen to me about 4 years ago right on the entrance to one of the most busy roundabouts in the town I live in. :nutter:
