bongo Posted July 21, 2014 Author Share Posted July 21, 2014 set about changing my fuel tank and fuel lines tonight,spare tank i had has been cleaned up and sprayed white lol,old is rusted and looks shite,i know its underneath but...you know lol.and since my car is originally a zetec the fuel lines are different as in the fuel filter is by the tank,so currently running 2 fuel filters,anyhow got everything off and had all the fuel lines back in place etc only to find the white fuel filetr side connector is fucked and wouldn,t grip the nipple (ooh errr!)so everything back off and old lines back on,slapped some waxoil everywhere car is still very good underneath,so got wednesday night now to put the tank on before the dreaded mot on friday.....not much of an update but something to read lol,oh and i still havent fitted my megasquirt (facepalm).
