Escort GTi for spares/repairs

selling on behalf of my flatmate, R plate GTi for spares or repairs. Its been a great car for him for past 18 months or so, plus I owned it a few years ago and took it all over the country.

Car runs but overheats quickly so wouldnt advise driving it, i think the water pump is knackered and is not circulating water. Dont think head gasket is away, no smoke, runs on four cylinders and no mixing of oil/water. I did head gasket/water pump/timing belt on it when I had it (about 3 years ago). Car has covered about 115k.

Long mot (November i'm sure) and got a full brand new exhaust (£140), bit welding on n/s chassis leg (£80) and brake pads (£20) to pass.

Good bits

Long mot

Lowered 60mm on 16" Mondeo 5 spokes (all centre caps)

RS2000 front brakes

2.0 cams and K&N cone filter

Bodywork is pretty good, arches both very clean, couple of very small scabs on tailgate.

Usual GTi bits, (wee bit wear on drivers seat) such as air con, white dials, half leather etc

bad bits - engine problem, drivers door has a bash in it and is missing rub strip.

here's a pic of when I had it, car is a bit dirty the now lol cos started playing up when the weather was bad so not had a good wash and polish recently!
