dutchkev
260mm? youll need escort rs2000 set up. the disks and callipers on an escorts rs2000 are 260mm and a straight swap from the 240mm jobbies

dutchkev
paitence is a virtue were not all sat here 24/7 waiting for a post in answer to your question - no, the mondeo callipers are usless - unless you wanted a paper weight. if you want to upgrade to 260mm brakes then ypu'll have to use the escoer rs2000 disks and callipers
Stu
in answer to your question - no, the mondeo callipers are usless - unless you wanted a paper weight. What problems did you have when trying to fit these Mondeo calipers? Also, rebellious: Demanding answers on a forum will only end up with you upset, so please be nice. Danzetec
3mm spacers will bring you in line, you will want the mondeo hoses too I think tho
cabbykarl
Mondeo calipers and rs2000 discs working fine on my mk5. Just spaced them out as above, used the mondeo hoses and changed the pipe union to suit.
stevmo3691
i was going to use 260mm mondeo brakes on mine. you do need to make the bolt holes in the hub bigger as mondeo carrier uses bigger bolts and mondeo hose as has different part going into calliper than escort ones. i managed to get RS2000 ones cheap so will be using them instead.
