He is going to have a look tomorrow to see if there is another way around it.. OR he has said, if you have had the sky for a year+ then it can be canceled and start up a new contract in someone elses name.. then he can get you a spanking deal on it! But saying that, they wouldnt give you a free HD box with a £30 setup! Give Sky a call, im pretty certain they wont just send you a card out... they will say you still need to pay the install fee etc... Like people upgrading from sky+ to HD, sky wil still charge you a setup fee even if they send the box to you and you set it up yourselfe. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

And for up to 20gig broadband, phonline (evening and weekend calls) and Sky (with HD box) £29 for first 6 months (FREE broadband) then £39 for 6 months. erm........thats essentially the deal I got by just pressing the salesperson......he even dropped the charges for my previous unpaid bill from my last house (I forgot to cancel sky when I moved ) I have a HD box with no HD subscription, all the movies, phone & Unlimited 20gig BB for £48. They always fold! lol. My m8 will endevour to get you the best deal... There are no commitments or ties to it, all i am is the middle man trying to save you guys a bit of money, im not getting commision or anything from it so its not benifiting me at all. What channels will I get which I can watch in HD? Its not worth upgrading to HD untill you can cancel your current contract and start up a new one! your get the HD box for pittance then. And when ou do, dont order online or over the phone,. either talk to my m8 or go to someone on a sky stand... But its always worth checking with my mate to see how good the deal is. the more im talking to him the more its becoming clear that sky is all about getting new customers and not much goes into preserving the customers they already have! You already have all the good stuff, what more will you need to add when your up and running? The deal you get is set, its just when you try upgrading half way through a contract etc but thats the same with almost everything. I have a Sky+ box.
