tezmanian devil Posted February 4, 2010 Share Posted February 4, 2010 we built both the engine for them, charlies is 708hp and andrews is 802, 60k is not expensive for that car box is 10kengine bill was over 20k and to compare to a gtr thats silly lol So can I ask where the other circa 30k comes from? brake'sdiffwheel'slabouretcetc if i had the money i'd happily buy this rather than a gtr. If I had the money to run in a saloon car championship (like the scottish sports/saloon car championship that it runs in) then i'd buy it tomorrow. I'm sure when AG originally built it, making it look pretty was obviously top of his agenda The time and effort that goes into something like this is massive, never mind the parts involved. Both this and the newer version are proven race winners built by a company that seems to be pretty highly regarded, and fitted with engines from a highly respected engine builder. I'd be interested on what AG would quote to build one like it from scratch. More than £60k I would wager.... Comparing it to a road car is utterly pointless as Stu said. Off topic slightly I know. no its not, another easy 100bhp and with the wider lighter carbon fibre body kit it will fit 10" wide slicks you could shave a second or so off the cars laptimes at the moment but for body kit and wheels its 15k lol ! i cant beleive a gtr is even being mentioned to be up with this car lol !
