Correct me if im wrong but i didnt think window tints were part of a MOT?? Mine passed with front tints in for 2 years running, now be taking out due to traffic cops stopping me and testing them! Mine passed with front tints in for 2 years running, now be taking out due to traffic cops stopping me and testing them! window tints were an advisory mate just a friendly bit of advice from garage about vosa and their light guns lol the garage quoted me over £200 for a new cat and abs sensor thats without labour and only the 2 parts so the welding and other bits would have cost a bomb! took the car out and handed it to a personal mate who did the welding on my last escort, he said itl cost me no more than £300 max and the next time i see it (tues i think) itl have mot everything fixed. Respect to you my friend i think you was the last evo member i bought something from had alot of trouble after that with buying stuff from here, firstly someone took my money for a luguna splitter and never sent it then i bought a mk6 lowering kit that turned out to be a mk5 when it was put into the garage for fitting and upon questioning got no help and no refund. Stil got it up the side of my shed if anyones after one. And as for swapping for a red one id do that too however the money iv just spent for mot so that i dont have to worry for 12months id feel like im robbing myself, and plus it wouldnt be a swap how the car stands because i love my mods too much Hopefully comes back today, plans for the future: subttle spliter (i like the bumpers with the small bib part on the front but no idea what they are called, not the same size as the cossie one i think i saw a smaller one on here somewhere), lowering, remove raisers, remove interior GTi badge from dash, new floor mats, respray rear bumper, replace jacking cover. i love the colour dont get me wrong but ive had 3 black escorts in a row now and am just dying for a change, next is an rs2000 on the shopping list but its that small issue of finding the money.
