Martin
I can only bend my left knee 20 to 30 degrees (Car crash almost 4 years back) One thing I REALLY miss is cycling (just for fun, nothing crazy) Obviously, I can't pedal a bike anymore. But, the other night I found this video: I have emailed the address listed in the video info and also the company in America Unicam. Unfortunately, neither seems to have been updated recently, so I am wondering if it would be hard for an engineering firm to make something similar? I also found these images on google http://www.hingedcrankarm.com/andrewhcafrontalbentsmall.jpg http://www.hingedcrankarm.com/andrewhcalateralsmall.jpg This design seems to be less noticeable than the one listed above. Any help would be gratefully received!
Craig855S
1.)Could you not just buy one of the 2 versions above? how much are they?2.)Problem with getting an engineer to knock one up going off the pictures (and his interpretation of the mechanics of how it works) is that he'll probably be copying a patented idea
Martin
I have emailed both the companies I have found but I'm waiting on a response.
ScORTED
any machine shop could knock you up the first one, the second must have some sort of preload etc but pretty simple stuff
