danny1987
what the hell is wrong with southern kebab shops!!! i have recently been to london, essex, feltham, birmingham & woustershire and they dont serve the house kebab on a friggin nan bread! Instead they presented me for £8 mind... 2 very small pitta breads, a tray of the meat and a shitty bag of side salad... A SELF ASEMBLE KEBAB what the fook! i have never come across this untill i left manchester. do they not know or something! the house special round here is a very large nan bread, donner, lamb tikka, chicken tikka shesh salad sauce all on one! that is a kebab! sorry, if this seems pointless! lmao... just we was very dissapointed with our food last night as we were starving! what are they like near all of you is it just down south or what! Stu
They do vary. Most I frequent don't have the salad seperately, but I know one or two do around here.

Fuckin tell me about it!!! I have always lived down south and thought thats how it was supposed to be.. then i went to manchester and WOW!!! Now kebabs down here just dont seem the same, there is a definate gap in the market down here for a PROPER kebab shop!! The ONLY place i know that does kebabs in a Naan (even though they make it into a naan roll) is relitavly near (60 miles near) is in poole, and i cant even remember the name of it! The best part of a kebab is the pitta with the juices soaked in... But thay cant even get that right! EscortNreg
An XL kebab down ere is like a small kebab up there! We dont even have chillis in the doner meat AND most kebab shops down here think mixing cury powder into ketchup makes chilli sauce!!!

PeeWee
I do hope everyone is aware of the wide variation a "Kebab" comes in?The wrap itself (if even used) can be many things but its far from defined. The contents again can vary extensively.
