Is it 4 flashes short pause 4 flashes short pause, or is it 4 flashes short pause 4 flashes long pause - that is single digit (4) or double digit (44)? What does the 4 or 44 actually mean ? 4 means Safing Sensor - Diagnostic Circuit Open or Low Primary Crash Sensor Resistance 44 means Primary Crash Sensor (drivers side) - Not Mounted to Vehicle Properly Given what you have been doing it's more likely code 4 - you've accidentally pulled a wire off. I unplugged the yellow leads from the front seats and plugged them back in, all is well with the little ford again now. Thanks for the help guys............
