marshy Posted February 14, 2010 Share Posted February 14, 2010 is it hard?? im asking as my si's drivers door is dying of tin rot so my better option is replace the door...only trouble being the only ones i can find are manual winders.. and mines electric.. so is it an easy job?? whats involved?? shawdreamer Posted February 14, 2010 Share Posted February 14, 2010 remove the motor and window runner from your current door and replace the manual runner in the new door. piece of pisss to do, remove glass (2x doors). drill out rivets that retain the runner (x2 doors) and motor in the door cavity. bolt the electric motor and runner into new door. reconnect wires. job done!
