16Vrhys
girlfriends mum had a full set of alloys for her fiat , i looked at them this morning and was same size tyres so the mrs asked for me and she said i could have them ! i got two fitted at the front , and the rears to be done , cost me £10 a tyre to be swapped and fitted all with about 5mm tread left and not cheap tyres either pretty decent ones did not put other two tyes on as they keep going flat she said but do you recon its down to the rim and not the tyre? Older alloys can start leaking so it could be that.Cant grumble for freebies

Escort_Kid
If its leaking out around the edge, which is the bead, then break the bead, slap some bead sealer around the inner edges of the alloy and pop the bead back on again, that should solve the issue
LiamGTR
Mind if I steal your thread mate? I understand if you lower your car it's recommended to lower the profile of your tyres? But what if I lower 60mm BUT only have 15"'s? Would 50 profile tyres be alright ? Edited February 19, 2010 by LiamGTR

dutchkev
195/45/15 will be an uncomfortabe ride but 59 should be fine fella
LiamGTR
I already have 45's on the front at the minute so getting used to it, but it's not lowered yet which i'm guessing is going to make the ride a bit harder again (please no mention of "handeling"... it's a 1.4 I drive around town ffs, lol)
