Road Rage??

With 15 years driving experience I'm sure I've mastered which lane to be in :pancake:

A lot of people's driving gets worse with age. ;)

And regarding the previous comment, sitting in the middle lane is wrong. Learn the highway code.

Thats just it i do only use the middle and fast lanes for over taking.

I was once on the M1 northbound heading towards east leeds (the bit where you cross over just after wakefield).

Lorrys + cars were in the left lane so i couldnt go right over. A guy in a old tatty vauxhall comes so far up behind me (i was doing 75ish) that I couldnt even see his number plate. I could however see clearly the back seat full of young kids + his wife in the passanger seat. He was giving all the hand signals to move over whilst it looked like he was shouting at me.

When I found a safe spot to move over he sped off at a silly speed.

Good luck to those kids :(

fast lane? where's that?

what I don't understand is the amount of people who 'get worse' with the kids in the car. Surely, if anything, and like me, you'd be super chilled with the kids in the car???

When I say get worse I don't mean I do anything to put them in danger. A bit of verbal but being aware of my language as the little lads started repeating everything we say lol. eg "what an idot" not a arms waving in the air, flashing lights, beeping horn kind of moment :thumb:

My Father in law witnessed a guy get out the car to someone in an effort to road rage him. The guy he tried to attack jumped out his car and took his steering lock across his face. A lesson learnt for him, there's always someone dafter than the dafty!

Fast lane? lane 3 but what i aways call the fast lane as that one always moves faster.

I don't get worse when there are children in the car i just wish people would concider others while driving i am quite a chilled driver i may say to myself t**t or along those lines but thats are far as i go.

Last night i went out with one of mates he was driving just before some traffic lights a bmw pulled over 2 lanes and cut him up quite bad he had to stop sharply.

on the next set of lights my mate pulled up along side him put down his window and really ripped into the driver he was around 35 40 my mate was going ape rubbish at him calling him all the names under the sun he got that bad i told him to shut up and give it a rest as the bloke in the other car refused to acknowledge he was even there.

I get angry sometimes while driving but he just went crazy.

Anyone else suffer like this on here?

Did the BMW driver not apologise at all? If so then he is a cock but for your mate to go mental at him is a bit crazy. If I was your mate I'd just beep and be done with it, If i was the BMW driver i'd put my hand up and say sorry. At the end of the day there was no harm done

I get a bit flustered by whoever in the car behind me gets so close you cant see headlights and they're bonnet slowly gets eaten up by the gap in my spoiler ;)

Quick flash of the dual foggys and bye bye! They disappear! I dont cut people up or get too close to people (no abs, escort with airbags that dont go off, why risk it?)

Normally i just take it as it comes but sometimes there are people i do get annoyed with!

On the M57 junction that goes over the M62 on the way into liverpool, saw a smart car fella nd a van fella get flustered, pretty amusing, as they were both about to jump out! smart car fella couldnt really fit in it, but they eventually went there own ways!!

You see pysco's on the tv all the time (and in a criminal solicitors) so you dont know whos in front or behind of you in the car, its something to bear thinking about!

If someones up my arse and in on my own it doesn't bother me, they hit me it's there fault, if I have kids in the car tho I warn them with touch of brake ( just enough for light to come on not actually brake) indicate sothey pass or I I have to put my foot down to create a gap
