LED TV's just use LED's for the backlight instead of CCFL..

Ahh, I never knew that either. So in that case is there a noticeable quality improvement, really worth the price differences?

Apparently they're much better.. i've not done a comparison myself though.

They are alot clearer & brighter than my LCD TV was, but I never new that it was still an LCD Screen!

I have bought one of these monitors as said, I paid Extra to have delivered Saturday, and it did not even turn up, so anyone buying one, please be aware of DPD delivery company they are shite (I have had problems with them before)

I checked wikipedia about this, and as Stu says the only thing that makes the TV "LED" is the fact that the backlight (which is normally cold cathodes) is now dozens of LEDs lighting a panel, it gives a much better contrast ratio but other than that its no better than a standard LCD

True LED TVs (which have millions of organic LEDs) have 1 tiny LED per pixel and are incredibly incredibly expensive. (11 inches for £1500)

Looks good Lee, your spaghetti junction needs sorting out though

That is all down to Lee with his desire to have everything plugged in at once & have surround sound on his computer. :D

you should loom them together with the spiwrap stuff you can get from wilkinsons or whereever. I get mine from work and it makes behind my TV look a lot tidier, I'll be getting one for my PC too when it arrives tomorrow as behind my PC has always been a nightmare, its just hidden though
