2wd to 4wd

hi mate mate has just crashed his rs2000 4x4 mk5 can i convert my 2wd to 4wd????

im gonna attempt it in the summer, but you need to chop the spare wheel tunnel because it will fowl the diff

 

prob alot of welding and fab work mate always worth having the running gear, but make sure you have the fuel tank aswell

if i woz you i wud gut the rs2000 4x4, and store all parts, the 4x4 system is rocking horse rubbish, and worth good money when in demand, if you lived near me id buy the whole car off you.

 

As i said ill be attempting it in the summer, ive got meself a cheap old escort so im gonna whip on the rear end and see what fowls what, but i do know i gotta chop the spare wheel tunnel as it wont work.

yeh sounds gd mate, the most valuable part of that car is the transfer box, if its in good condition could fetch a fair few quid, but yeh hang on to it, im gonna be getting bits 2gether and see how it goes
