Mike's BMW 3 Series M Sport

Had this for almost a year now, only my second ever car after the faithful Escort.

You can see my old Escort thread here:

Anyway, got this last year and it's in mint condition - it only had 20k miles on the clock when I got it, and has a full leather interior, sports seats, etc.

Always been a big fan of the E46's, and I took my time in getting it.

It's a 318i so not the quickest BMW but you notice the difference from an Escort!

I was contemplating getting MV2 alloys (as I've always been a fan) but I don't think they'll suit this car and I like the wheels it has. Certainly a lot rarer than most BMW's that usually have MV2's, and plus I'd prefer to keep official BMW wheels on the car :)

Looks lovely mate!

In top condition by looks of it, and the interior is so sexy.

Cheers, not as nice as my tan leather in the Escort though :D

Looks very nice :)

Thanks Dan :thumb:

Not a fan of MV2s myself.

I think your car would really suit a black rim with polished lip :) Perhaps even your current alloys refurbed in that manner.....

You mean black alloys with the silver around the outside?

Very nice motor, sorry not to clued up on wheels names but was it not mv2's I had on my 328 e46? I thought they suited it well if so.

Yeah, those are MV2's.

They are probably by far the most popular wheels for the E46. I think they look mint on the coupés, just not so sure on the saloons.

Aye.

Something like this, but on a suitable OE wheel:

nice looking car. not a 3-series fan myself. prefer the 5 for added practicality (really want a 530i SE), but if i had to have a 3-series it would be one like yours. like the wheels as they are myself. i think black wheels make the wheels look smaller than they are

**Cough Cough** :ninja:

Black rim polished lip

Really like this shape BMW, I'm not really a fan of silver cars, but BMW and Mercedes always manage to pull it off.

Nice, clean, tidy example. :thumb:

The only car I like those kind of rims would be on a black car to be honest, like on your brothers car! On a black car it looks mint, but just not sure on a silver one.

Love the car, but a few months ago some tw*t (never knew who it was) put a massive cut in the rear seats and it cost me £125 to sort out as it was leather. I was gutted...

Little Swines, so was the £125 to retrim that part of the seat or just repair?

How good was it too because Paddy has left a very deep scratch in one of the trucks seats so....

I recall a mates car having M3 motorsport alloys on it? (do they exist)

would they look nice on your car? :)

He bloke was good to be fair, looks like brand new now. He repaired it using some weird paint and filler. Looked pretty technical!

Not sure which wheels they are, what do they look like?
