Craig855S
Stu I don't wanna wait another 9 days for a computer, and i've knocked it back into shape more or less (its only on the inside) and it appears the high pitched noise is coming from the monitor, I turned it off and the noise stopped. If the guy sends me a new case free of charge ill be happy, if he refunds me some money ill be happy, if he tells me to get fucked then ill take action, but i want to keep the computer and just get an apology for the damage. Can anyone enlighten me on how to correctly mount this SATA drive into it's bay?
stoo2000
And if your hard drive has been damaged via excessive shocks, it's warrenty is void
Craig855S
I don't think it's damaged, I've transfered the stuff from my passport onto it and its now half full and behaving itself, The seller offers a 12 month warranty anyway. and he knows its taken a knock. Lee_2f2f
Only just checked this thread. Can't believe you recieved it with such Damage Craig, working or not I'd have sent that back and demanded a replacement.
Craig855S
I'd have to pay return postage mate and it'd take 2 or 3 weeks to get a replacement so I couldnt be arsed with it. If it fails in 12 months due to damage caused by the bump then its under warranty anyway. Hard drive is now nearly full and it all works so I dont think its been harmed at all
