I wouldn't go to the expense of shocks and springs unless your current shocks are worn. I put Eibach springs on my old one with the Standard shocks and it handled spot on without compromise to the comfort.

They're a 30 40 drop so balance the front and rear height out if I remember correctly.

Although I got mine from my local Ford dept :thumb:

Love it mate, that looks the tits, was it a ghia x?

Agin, you'e done so much more work to yours than i plan to do to mine.

I was hoping to keep it as original as possible minus lowering.

Will definately look at them springs and probably purchase.

How much did they cost to fit, or did you do it yourself?

I am also falling in love with the black angel eyes, do you think they would suit my z-s?

Mine was a facelift tdci 130 ghia x

Never done much to it to be fair, lowered it, tinted windows, mud flaps, refurbed wheels and black eyed the headlights and fogs (didn't angel eye the lights I feel it's tacky but each to there own)

Ok just remember also put final face lift rear lights on with reflector lower valance and clear repeaters.

Fitting prices for the springs was £60 but I know a few guys that do things a bitty cheaper for me.

Got this home yesterday, bloody hell does it go some.

Scared myself the first time i put my foot down!!

And i love the drive! Very happy!

Was very impressed by all the paperwork with the car, up until the beginning of 2008 it had been very well looked after.

In one year it had 3 ford services! But then again since 2008 its only done 8-9,00 miles!

And from what i can see, all its going to need are new brake pads and perhaps discs.

And it is booked in for a full full service with ford, including brake fluid and engine flush.

So far i have purchased:

-Pair of facelift rear lights (not the chrome bottom type, the white tip type)

-Pair of facelift crystal side repeaters & the silver repeater bulbs (so no orange bulbs)

-Genuine ford car mats

-Genuine ford key ring

-Genuine ford cd case holder to match paperwork holder

-Genuine ford tax disc holder

Still to purchase:

-New centre caps to compliment refurbed alloys

-New number plates (i do with every new car)

Perhaps to purchase in future:

-30mm lowering springs

-Boot lip spoiler

And then just fork out for this service and tax :(
