Trig
Lol, i think its safe to say that Trig has a rather bizarre opinion on shopping etiquette and it is obvious that the majority of us do not agree. No amount of posts are going to clarify this any further. Meh, I have to say that I agree with him. Me or the freeloaders? Lol, i think its safe to say that Trig has a rather bizarre opinion on shopping etiquette and it is obvious that the majority of us do not agree. No amount of posts are going to clarify this any further. So its bizarre to understand that EVERYTHING has a cost and that I dont waste people's time when they could put it to a more productive use? That I understand that I can choose to do my own research and be in the position to take the cheapest price, or I can choose to take up valuable and expensive time to take advice and make a purchase following said advice? This majority that you speak of, I cant see it, not in this thread anyway.

Saunders
Hard to say really, as in my opinion it varies on the product/shop. But I have a question Trig. Let's say you were interested in a product, you went to the 'specialist' shop, asking for advice and on the intent of buying. But after receiving advise, the product is not what you're looking for. Now I assume, your response would be, you'd ask about the product which is more beneficial to yourself. However, they do not stock such a thing, and could provide no further help. How do you see this? A waste of their time? Or not, as you were intending on buying from them, but now you have not bought from them but yet still received the advise, which as said "could" be found on the internet. I wouldnt have walked in there with the intention of getting something with no intention of purchasing. If they had the product that fitted my needs, then I would have purchased. Saunders
I probably asked that wrong. What I mean is, let's use for example a protein shake. You've seen one advertised in this shop, you're wanting to buy it. But first you want to ask for his advice, then it turns out it's not what you need. And he can't help you with any other products. Make more sense?
Trig
same question, same answer. If they cant supply the relevant product then that is a different matter, I would have walked in to ask for advice and then make a purchase based on what the advice points me towards.
