panda Posted February 23, 2010 Share Posted February 23, 2010 Changed my rear shoes as failed MOT on handbrake and now i cant get the drum back on to the drivers side. Anyone got any ideas? projectrs2k Posted February 23, 2010 Share Posted February 23, 2010 to take carpet up you have to remove the bottom half of the back seat check underneath mate best way just a quick question your front carpet isnt wet aswell it? either you have adjusted your shoes out too far on that side or the drum has a serious lip (build up of rust)on the edge of the drum on the inside to adjust on cable lift the plastic trim and gaiter from arounf the handbrake lever and down the left hand side of the handbrake lever you will see a 10mm nut on a adjusting rod this is were you tension the handbrake up Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
