Does anyone know a good place to get a new cat from please? My other escort failed the MOT today, and its believed the main reason being the cat as the emissions were high

 

Been quoted £75, not sure if thats a great price as i have never bought a new cat for any car, let alone the escort

£75 sounds pretty cheap for a cat. If by 'good' you mean 'cheap' then this is probably a good bet.

well I never stated anything to the guys on the other side of the phone, I just called a few telling each what I was already quoted (minus a couple of quid) and the cheapest I was quoted was £75, I just wasnt sure if that was a good price still or not, as I have never had to buy 1 before
