Simon69
Now im no Comic or Sci-fi GEEK but ive been toying with the idea of having the One Piece door that i want for my Van airbrushed once its fitted i was having a general look and came across this picture which i thinks looks fantastic, if you like that sort of thing,http://img519.imageshack.us/img519/4953/16549126956702622714414.jpg so again i had a look for an image that i though could look pretty cool airbrushed to the Van and i found this .................... maybe a little to geeky for my likes but never say never, im trying to imagine what it would look like on a 1 piece Rear door http://img401.imageshack.us/img401/2193/starwarsepisode3yoda.jpg Edited March 4, 2010 by Simon69

LiamGTR
The Hulk! Get in! Looks quality work, the picture you want to use looks just as good but I think far too much detail, maybe the airbrush'er (?) will detail it down a bit

Simon69
ive been mulling this over for a few days now and ive decided i really like the idea of having an image on the rear one piece door when its done so ive decided to steer clear of the geeky run of the mill images and would like to go with this ............................. if it can be done http://img9.imageshack.us/img9/6972/robertdenirojakelamotta.jpg
protouring mk6
real life is a lot harder to airbrush than comic stuff.it has to be spot on or it looks stupid.would look good done though if done right.

Simon69
The people who going to be doing my van have been in touch and they have said they want the Van into their workshop May to begin work im dead excited Now i cant wait. As some of you may know i want the one piece back door so i can have a picture painted on it, there is a slight issue with the door and im hoping this can be resolved but anyway ive noticed some of you have little affectionate names for your motors so im going to do the same Im calling Him yes this is going to be a very masculine Van he will be christened The Trooper and hopefully this will be the picture http://img43.imageshack.us/img43/5282/ironmaidenthetrooper332.jpg
dieselvan
as much as i love the image and the idea of it, is that not an Iron Maiden image? which would slightly contradict your masculine wishes? would it not be easier and cheaper to get a digital print i know its cheatin but if its a complete vinyle wrap of the rear doors then you'd never tell. KNITERIDER
iron maiden are amazing! great live too! id call the car "eddie" to go with the iron maiden finish as the monstor is called eddie or edward. love the pic
Simon69
hahahahaha its just clicked what you meant by Iron Maiden not being masculine. Ive actually been told about the vynyl wrapping and now that you seem to think it would look ok im very tempted to go down that route a whole cheaper to iron maiden are amazing! great live too! id call the car "eddie" to go with the iron maiden finish as the monstor is called eddie or edward. love the pic great idea
