Escort_Kid
Right guys and girls really struggling to get insurance on a N/A 1.8 diesel escort van. I rang up my current insurers direct line and they wont insure me on a van under 21!? Is it possible to get insurance on escort vans under 21? If so who with? Apnea
I had this problem, but what they think you're asking for is Commerical insurance, thats not what you want it for. Obviously you want it privately for private use. As long as you tell them that youll be ok, because usually it doesnt even show up on their databases thats its a car. I shall deffinately ring them back up next time I can which will be saturday now and explain this to them and see what happens, fingers, toes, arms, everything crossed it works haha cheers mate So an escort van is actually classed as a car not a van? Go for gladiator mate. See the prolem I have I dont have the £150+ deposit other insurance companies want to start a new policy. This is why I was hoping my current insurers would just let me transfer my current policy And the insurers that have a no deposit scheme dont insure me, from what Ive found so far. robinsonsjuice
try four counties, tell them you need to insure your van as a private vehicle ie a car policy, this is how i insured mine the guy even got me a 10% business use so if my firms van broke down i'd be able to use it for the day! that was with all the mods declared, the lot. failing that adrian flux will insure you no worries, but they were dearer for me with less cover. Or have you not bought the van yet ?
