massivewangers
What year is your van? If it's a 1991/2 (MK5a), it will fit straight on, if it's 92-95 (MK5b) you'll need to fit a MK5a bonnet catch and find a grill for it, if it's a 95-2001 (MK6) then you'll need a MK5a bonnet catch and to convert to MK5 lights and bumper too, which is obviously more involved

massivewangers
It isn't that hard to convert mate. Don't let it put you off, the MK5 front end is really nice looking. The headlights and bumpers can be had pretty cheap. The bumper bolts straight on, and the bonnet will too, so will the bonnet catch, just a little tweaking to get the lights fitted, but it isn't the biggest job

scottg17
To do the conversion 'properly' you need the wings, Slam Panel, lights, bumper, grille, lights, bonnet catch and fogs. You can get off with it with the mk6 wings i think but it wont look right. You will need to modify the wiring for the indicators as they are in the bumper on a mk5 and i thnk change the multi plugs on the fogs too. hope this helps Edited March 8, 2010 by scottg17
