PeeWee
They wipe in an arc which can take a few days to get used too as its not the wipe your used too. Mine was parked normal at the scuttle, not in the centre like some. They do wipe to both sides bottom. Faster as well. Mine was off a mk6 on here then fitted to my mk5b so yes its fine.Mine was fine in heavy rain, different arm beneath makes it wipe faster & mine parked low on the passenger side down close to the scuttle.Get a good one & fit it correct & it will be fine. madxrcabby
what make is yours ? ^^ could be beause the actual motor arm is too short so it hasnt got much of a throw on it, i used to have a storm one, it wiped within an inch on the bottom of the drivers side, and sometimes hit the scuttle on the passengers........ brilliant in heavy rain too, as pete said buy a good one and it'll be fine, personally i think theyre better than the 2 wiper set-up, after all quite a few high spec merc's come with them
