YellowWheels
I take my black taxi to a hand car wash twice a week and they use the liquid spray on wax. Then once a month I wash and hand wax it myself. The problem ive started noticing is that the paint work seems like its starting to go dull.Is there a shampoo I can use that will "strip" all the wax/grime etc off as I assume its a build up of wax thats making it dull. Craig855S
How about just a bit of polish?
PeeWee
Using clay from the likes of Halfords will remove all residue down to your original paintwork.Moved to the correct section for you.
MikeM
As said, You can use clay to remove and get it back to the orignal paint work. And ideal on is Meguiars quick clay which included quick detailer for lube.
Trig
You will probably find that the dullness you are seeing is basically scratches in the paintwork (swirls) and the way to improve the appearance will be through polishing, using something like Meguiars ultimate compound will improve it no end. Tez162003
its the result of poor washing techniques and washing it very often. listen to trig, thats what your problem is, nasty swirls!!!
