Haha, mate it's a show on ITV I think, whre they put cameras in maternity wards and show you all the ups and downs and hours before babys are born and how the women react etc ....

Av watched the first 3 episodes .. Not bad but could be better ...

Definitely i'm sure they just pick all the Fcuking wierdo's as I watched it with my mam and she told me it's nout like that and you don't hear anyone, maybe one, person screaming like that when giving birth

A lot of those women giving birth are overexagerating whiners. Especially that T*at the other week who's husband had just given up with her and basically said "You bring it on yourself" I agreed with him. If my wife behaved like that when she gave birth i'd walk out. She handled childbirth fine with out first. Second is due in less than 5 months Edited by Craig855S

my missus didnt scream but she went kinda boss'eyed....

seriously, I was so concerned about it I started thinking of ways of convincing her it wouldnt change how I felt about her just cos she looked like she was constantly staring at her own nose.

are you taking the pee??? you would walk out? thankfully Kev isnt like you then.

can tell you never had to squeeze a melon outta your delicate parts!!

I was a screamer. But I had no pain relief. I had only gas and air.

Mia was a worrying birth, she had poo'd and heartrate dropped, Cole was on my back.

So I tell you what - until YOU have that pain in your back, groin, stomach and everywhere, dont comment!

I have been to two different hospitals, and you could hear screaming, swearing and babies crying up and down the ward!

I went to swear at my midwife and refrained out of politeness (as polite as possible with your legs in styrups and her hand......) but she told me to vent as it helps!

my missus kicked our midwife across the room, to her credit the poor biddy used the momentum to rebound off the wall and crab scuttle straight back....if I hadnt been on the verge of a sleep deprevation induced pshycotic episode Id have laffed my arse off at it

have never even had a labour pain!!

aha! then you know as much as your average bloke what "giving birth" is like!

I like to think its like having to squeeze out a super hefty turd......and you cant even argue against my theory!!!!

Did you see this woman I'm referring to? she refused to put the effort in to get the baby out, the midwives both walked out and the she began going backwards and didnt want to push through the pain to go forwards because "it hurt too much"

Now my wife, you, and many many other women MAN UP (pardon the wording) and put up with the pain to get the baby born but she just lay there and gave up, and therefore the midwives did and the husband gave her a right shouting at. If THAT woman was my wife your damn right i'd have walked out, either that and knocked her the Fcuk out and tell the midwives to section the baby out (the husband was concerned about getting the baby into the world, she would happily leave it in there forever)
