Chappers
Just to say (and I really don't like coming on here to see what you're doing with the car) I pretty much just unplugged everything. I certainly didn't cut any wires (except the alam, but that didn't go near the fusebox, so all you need is a loom and fusebox from another escort. Obviously if you just stick it into a garage and say "make it run in 10 days" it's not going to be cheap

Obviously if you just stick it into a garage and say "make it run in 10 days" it's not going to be cheap in what sense chappers? because it was yours or you dont like his plans? It was mine (in so many senses of the word!), it's now gone, my bit's sposed to be over. Current plans don't sound bad in any way but you never know. I don't want to come on here one day to see it upside down in a tree, covered in RIPSPEED stickers, fag burns, scrapes, scratches, etc. etc. so it's best not to see it at all. I also don't want to just leave him in the lurch with a car he knows nothing about, but then again it's been 2 years since i've really touched the damn thing so I don't know how much I can help. However, they're pretty simple cars so in all honesty even if it needs a new loom, i've seen Graeme, Ralph, etc. etc. do that over a weekend so it's never going to be that bad. Word of advice for everyone: don't ever get this attached to a car. It's bad for your health.
Craig855S
so all you need is a loom and fusebox from another escort. Why does it need a loom? it looks like it's there, and if you havent cut anything then surely all it needs is a fusebox? Tell us what the electricians bad news is please mate. Don't let him tell you that a couple of cut wires is gonna cost hundreds of pounds to put right!

Fusebox was with the car I think.
