Posted March 13, 201014 yr Hey all. My ford escort (96) central locking system isnt working - the divers side rear door was jammed - but i released this using a test lamp n connected to a live wire. I was installing a remote central locking kit and when i pressed the button something "popped" - i;ve no idea what! I've pulled the Central Locking Interface box out to check - theres no relays on it - so it must be somewhere else... Is there a test i can do to make sure the solenoids are ok? - theres 6 wires on the multi-plug and no idea which ones to conect to battery to test with. Any advice pls pls.
