Hi guys ive got bought some cosworth opening rear windows for my xr3i its come with the fitting but when ive took my interior pannels of the holes are to big to bolt the windows to if any 1 had this problem when fitting them to there car what is the best way around it cheers shaun.

Do you mean the bolt holes in the car?

When I put mine in I used rivets to attatch the hinges to the car as I found the proper ford bolts weren't very good. You will also need to trim your interior panels but if you turn them over you will see the bit you have to cut is already marked.

did you do the same on all 3 hidges 2 at front by the front seats and 1 at the back to open the window cheers.

I think there is a guide on here on how to do it in the how to section.

I had a set of opening windows in both my mk6s and I used the proper ford bolts for the hinges on the first set and they never felt very sturdy in there, always thought the windows were going to fall out.Used rivets on the next car and it felt so much more secure.

The rear hinge I used the bolts as there is already a threaded hole in the pillar.
