Possible Event

i went today to the St Patricks day Parade in Birmingham city Center, had a good look round and me and the misses had ourselves a guiness or 2

 

This years Parade was much bigger than previous years and it would seem that each year its getting bigger, the emphasis being on Everyone celebrating St Patricks no matter what age colour or religion you are.

 

Anyway amoung the Parade floats anf costumers i noticed this year a lot of Motor vehicles ranging from early Morris Minors, and Aston Martin a bunch of Scooter enthusiasts and Tractors.

 

so i got to thinking wouldnt it be great to have this as an Evo meet, not only meet each other but also show off our Cars to the general public by driving in a parade.

 

With this in mind i went to spoke to one of the event organisors and over yet another Guiness it turns out that having a small selection Of Evo members driving in next years parade would be a dead cert, there is obviously certain crieteria that needs to be looked at.

 

We can advertise EVO as much as we like, the only thing that is asked of us is we show a banner saying " Evo wishes you a happy St Patricks day" or something similar.

 

The criteria i mentioned well that would be pretty straight forward they would want cars that would catch the eye taking part in the parade, a maximum of 5.

 

so what do you think is this something that would interest any one here, i know i would and by then my Van should be more than ready

I had an email from the organisors of the St Paddys parade In Birmingham, they are putting together the plans for 2011s parade which is 12 and half weeks away and have asked if anyone is interested in taking Part

Sorry, not been around for a while but i just wanted to know if anyone is interested in coming along to this event

 

theres space for a few cars/vans the more Pimped up the better
