Is it me or is escort gti 3drs becoming rare to find in good condition?

 

been looking for nearly 2 months,tried piston heads,autotrader ,ebay,anywhere else i can try?

Its basically because they are old cars (even if it doesnt feel like it) and like most old fords they rot. Also doesn't help that most owners car/were youngish. So would probably have been driven hard.

 

You're looking in the right places so just be patient. And look in the Ford mags classifieds too.

I know how you feel I was looking for just a simple nice 1.6 3dr low spec model and there was nothing
Its tough, best advice is look everyday, 2-3 times a day if need be. If its good and at a fair price it wont stay around long. Also be prepared to travel for the right one :thumb:

thats in Budget, as Mike says they are hard to find! so many rotters out there and so many ppl dreaming of what a rusty one is worth!
