I've got a toad alarm and wanted to know if and how to wire the for deadlocking to it?

as I had it fitted to my vectra and it all worked?

I used the search but cant find what I need..

you could splice the signal wires from the alarm into the horse shoe deadlock sensor that sits around the barrel of escorts fitted with OEM deadlocking (its the sensor that actually controls the entire deadlocking system) but I couldnt tell you what the voltages involved are.

Thats what I was thinking but dont want to Fcuk the central locking up.. lol

I found some info for a mk6 but dont know if it's right can anyone confirm this..

You need to feed the lock wire with +12v then Relay one of the chanel outputs to give +12v and diode the output from the relay to feed 2 fin blue/white wires.

To un-deadlock you need to diode the unlock wire from the alarm to give +12v to the cars unlock wire and a fat blue/white wire.

I dont know wtf they were on about as I cant find these wires anyone know the wires I need I will figure out the rest.. I just need to know the trigger wires for the deadlocks..

the trigger wires run from the horseshoe sensor I mentioned :thumb:

have you checked to see if the sensor is around the barrel? if not then you may not have the wiring loom present thats required for dealocking

yes m8 got the s ensor but cant get it to work off the toad? i always use the deadlocking but its a pain to haveb to keep usin the keuy to operate it..

well one thing I do know is that if you want to include alarm based deadlocking your gonna have to remove that same sensor from the OEM system as even if your alarm system sends the signal down the wire to deadlock the doors that sensor will at the same time be telling the OEM system that the barrel hasnt been moved to the deadlock position and cancel out the alarms signal.

all that sensor actually is is a pair of micro switches that are pressed when you either turn the barrel full one way or full the other and inturn those switches turn deadlocking off and on, a generally very simple setup that really shouldnt be hard to bypass or simply replace the sensors signal with a alarm based one.

fuckin central locking is dead cant find the problem shorted the black wire off the horseshoe and it popped no central locking try the fuse box but no fuses are blow changed the kick panel modual and nothing .. please help!!!

well seen as your now looking at "from scratch" situ..... why not instal a simple remote aftermarket central locking system and then disconnect the door barrels completely (which is essentially what the deadlocking does).

garantee itll be easier to intregrate a basic aftermarket jobbie into a alarm system than OEM stuff :thumb:

?? I installed a Toad alarm all works apart from the deadlocks.. I fix the central locking a Fcuking fuse on top of the fuse box..

strange thing is when it was just the alarm powering the CL it locked on disarm sort of and unlocked sort of on arm?? but sometimes it would lock with the deadlocks.. ?

By easier, what Shawdreamer actually means is it's not possible! :pancake:

Its always posible you just have to find away around it.. I was told it couldnt be done on a vauxhall and I did it...

Everythings possible if your savvy enough about wiring but as I see it you can acheive the results your after alot easier using a aftermarket CL system and disabling the barrels entirely :thumb:
