in the long term its gonna add up to quite a bit, but A) as said, its only about the same as i already spend out and B) its going to be doing good for me!

Stupid us for trying to persuade you off it, we all forgot that starving yourself is good for you

:nutter: Rock, hardplace?

The advice is all taken on board m8 and i will be having a good chat to the doctor about it.

Its all designed to put you in a state of ketosis

More info on ketosis

So you are KNOWINGLY putting yourself in a state of Ketosis? AND you know what Ketosis actually is?

I actualyl don't know what to say apart from ok do it, obviously nothing us can say will persuade you otherwise.

Thats why i want to talk to the doctor about it.

Can you explain to me what Ketosis is? Is it the same thing you get when you go on the atkins diet?

Pretty much yea, it's when you starv yourself so much that your body has ran out of glucose (energy) so it takes it from the next available source... which is fat (then muscle then BONE!), but it can't fully convert fat which leaves you with a lot of fatty acid (ketones) deposited all around your body/circulatory system, in your liver and kidneys for example....VERY DANGEROUS.

P.S. No point in going to your doctor, he will only say no, and if he advises it and lets you go on it... you really want to seek a new doctor.

Also if you mentioned diabetes, research Ketoacidosis (Ketosis for people with diabetes/or risk of...)

Much more serious case...

Similar, although high col doesn't affect the PH (acidicty) of your blood, more just cloging your circulatory system/blood to the heart

Why not just consider what I said dude? It's much safer.

Again - Eat 3 yogurts a day, if you need a snack then have a portion of fruit. Only drink water & energy drinks (energy drinks are vital - Red Bull, Relentless, Red Rooster etc not Lucozade) and make sure you exercise for 30 minutes a day minimum, even if it's just walking.

After a month of that I guarantee you'll have lost at least a stone, quite possibly nearer to 1.5 stone.

I guess it'd be classed as a crash diet, but at least your body is still getting food, and healthy food too. The energy drinks are used to speed up your metabolic rate and obviously if your body isn't used to being without sugar you'll be tired more so the energy drinks also replace that for you and keep you awake.

Energy drinks do keep you awake, by giving you a 'sugar rush' but then you will only get a massive dip in blood sugar.. making you very lethargic/sleepy/tired.... energy drinks really aren't the way forward to keeping your awake.

Also i'm going to guess that the yogurts will have the sugar in them he needs, i've never seen a yogurt without added sugar
