Posted April 12, 201014 yr had a little bump the other day on passenger wing, smashed light and dented body work a little when i did it, it didnt stop the car i just kept driving thinking was nothing, wasnt till what..... 5mins after the stereo cut off along with the 3 other things that connect to it ( cig lighter, interior light, clock power (but not clock light) ), checked the fuse which is a 15A fuse in slot 29, and that has blown so i then got more fuses, when i put the fuse in, it sparked and blew that fuse also! now im not sure if having a bang has even got anything to do with it but it was fine before that, just seems funny that it happend not long after i had a little bump (but not immediately), i did try removing my stereo and tryed again but it blew another fuse. any help much appreciated!
April 12, 201014 yr Mine did this with the stereo and the headlights, no matter how many fuses you tried it popped em all. The fusebox turned out to be shagged on mine, and is a common problem on the mk5a and mk5b models (hence ford redesigning them for the mk6).
