put my car of the road in january and made sure i turned it over at least once a week,

but came to put it back on the road last week and it needed a jump start,

noticed after i jumped it that the battery light was staying on so gave the battery a good slow charge

replaced the battery but the light stays on this wasnt on before i put it of the road

Does it fade when reving, flicker at all?

Alternator?

Battery could be dead & not getting a charge?

Earth lead corroded gunged up?

If you drive into a garage they will test the battery so you can rule it out for free before random part swapping.

Winter months can easily kill of a used battery & lets face it we had a stonking cold start to 2010. :thumb:

Have you driven it around to see if the light goes out?
