Right, i haven't been on here for about 2 years but im back now.

Just thought i'd stick a thread up about my new daily and update as i go. I have an E30 BMW as my toy and up until yesterday i had a diesel mk4 Fiesta Encore daily which to be fair was a good little motor but i just couldn't put up with the severe lack of performance and creature comforts so i sold that and spotted this on Driftworks.

 

132k miles, 2 tiny spots of rust, big stack of bills and receipts etc, interior in good nick bar a few marks (was a school run car) and a rip in the back doorcard, it had no rear load cover but i sorted one out today off a breaker my mate has and he threw in a nice induction cone, but the clincher was the working aircon which ive never had before lol. Its been lowered on Koni suspension (or so the badge on the back claims, i dunno, the springs are red if that makes any difference)

 

Plans are to get it mopped and waxed/polished cos there are a few scratches around it, maybe a subtle sound set-up, i'd like to get the windows tinted and ive just bought a set of black side repeaters and won some already half-tinted rear lights on ebay. Want to go for the headlights with the smoked surround and a 8000k HID kit.

Basically this is my daily so just want to make it a bit nicer, tidier and a slightly more pleasant place to be

The towbar will be coming off and i cant decide whether to change the wheels, what ya reckon? I'd love escort cossie wheels but they are too much money or a nice set of 17's but it probably wouldn't drive as nice on 17's

Bronze4door it probably is the same one. i bought it off a guy who's a moderator on Turbosport and a mk1 escort fan so i would think it is. Thanks for the comments lads
