Hi all just wanted to ask what size id the disks on the front of a 97 1.8 Gti Escort

 

Went to price upgraded pads and disks today at work but ebc told me there was a choice of disk 240m or 260m

 

I think the 260m are for the rs but just wanted to make sure befoe i order them as i cant return the as it a special order.

It will be 99% 240.

If the brakes have never been uprated before they will be 240mm 100%

260mm is the rs set up

Instead of buying overpriced EBC chite that will improve your brake performance by a small percentage...why not just get the cossie set up (i got it for a cost of about 90 quid,discs pads and calipers and braided hoses) which will improve your braking by....a LOT
